  • Optional Newsletters: To send promotional newsletters only if you explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email.
  • AI Quiz Generator: When you use our AI quiz generator feature, only the topic and text prompt you enter are processed by Google's Gemini service to create quiz questions. We never send your name, email address, or account details to AI services.
  • Website Optimization & Security: To maintain proper website functionality, remember your settings, and secure our platforms.

 

4. Google User Data & Policy Compliance

QuizStud complies with third-party developer policies, including the Google API Services User Data Policy:

  • No Data Selling: We never sell your personal data or Google user data to anyone.
  • No Advertising: We do not use your personal data or Google user data for advertising purposes.
  • No AI Model Training: We do not use, transfer, or share your personal data or Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models.
  • Revoking Access: You can review or revoke QuizStud’s access to your Google account at any time via myaccount.google.com/permissions.

 

5. Sharing Data with Third Parties

We share personal data exclusively with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate QuizStud, or when legally required to do so. Our key service providers include:
  • Supabase: Database hosting (located within the European Union).
  • Vercel: Website hosting and infrastructure.
  • Brevo: Transactional and newsletter email delivery.
  • Mollie: Payment gateway services.
  • Google (Gemini Service): AI question generation (limited strictly to user-entered quiz topics/prompts).
All third-party providers are contractually obligated to process your data securely and solely for the purposes defined by QuizStud.

QuizStud uses technical, functional, and privacy-friendly analytical cookies:

  • Legal Retention: Records of payment transactions are retained for seven (7) years to comply with Dutch tax law obligations.

QuizStud takes data security seriously and implements technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, or unauthorized modification:
